jaranwala.com is an independent community website about the city of Jaranwala, in Faisalabad District, Punjab. It is not a government website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Municipal Committee Jaranwala, the Punjab government, or any public body.
How this site works
- Free to be listed. Every business in Jaranwala can be listed at no cost, and the order of listings is not sold.
- No political content. No party, candidate, campaign or office-holder is promoted here, and no such request will be accepted.
- Anything paid is labelled. If the site ever carries a sponsored item, it will say “Sponsored” plainly and sit apart from the free listings.
- No payments from visitors. Visitors are never asked for payment details. Links to services such as FESCO, Sui Northern, NADRA and the Municipal Committee's complaint system point at those organisations' own websites.
Install the app
Jaranwala.com works like an app on your phone, with nothing to download from the Play Store. On Android in Chrome, tap Install the app on the home page when it appears, or open Chrome's menu (the three dots) and choose Add to Home screen or Install app. Inside Instagram or Facebook, open the page in Chrome first. Where the information comes from
Historical material is drawn from published sources. Directory listings were compiled by hand from public information. Prayer times come from the AlAdhan prayer timetable, and weather data from Open-Meteo.com (CC BY 4.0); both update automatically.
About the illustrations
The artwork across the site is illustration rather than photography, produced with AI image tools and directed by hand. It is meant to represent the city, not to document it. Where a real person is described, no invented likeness is shown.
